The Rebels dock at 1 Utama to spend a short but memorable hour with the wonderful children at MPH Bookstores' annual Share-A-Gift event on Dec 13th, 2008. Each year, proceeds from the SAG programme go to providing reading materials for less fortunate children.

RLMO, 501st and Mandolorian Mercs, Jebat Clan were involved in one of Malaysia's biggest movie showcase and carnival. The Rebels have their hands full running a number booth activities promoting the RL and Star Wars - from the Rebel Hunt, Lucky Draws and Q&A sessions.

The RLMO's first visit to Comic Fiesta- Malaysia's premier anime, manga and cosplay convention- on the 20th and 21st of December, 2008 at the Sunway Convention Centre, Petaling Jaya.

The Republic comes to Mandalorian Territory in Penang Island to forge alliances and slow some traffic! The outing was hosted graciously by local Mandalorian Mercs members Ge'tal and Ni'Sya Gratua. Photos were taken Feb 22, 2009 at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Upper Penang Road and the Protestant Cemetery.
